CLIMATE ACTION AND LOCAL FOOD (CALF)
The Climate Action and Local Food (CALF) project is a 18 month partnership project lead by Sonairte (The National Ecology Centre), with OFN and Cloughjordan Community Farm. It is part of the Community Climate Action Programme (Strand 2), funded by the Department of Environment Climate and Communications and administered by Pobal.
The objective of the project is to develop resources to support the establishment of Community Food Hubs which would help to make nutritious, locally produced food available to all.
The main outputs of the project are the Community Food Hubs Toolkit, a selection of Case Studies and the Food Hubs Network at OFN.
