Open Food Network is built by community, and built for community food enterprises. You can sell food, purchase food, or help us build a new food system.
Producers, Hubs, & Groups
Producers can set up their free profile to appear on our map.
You can also open an online shopfront and sell your produce, either directly or via a Hub. If there isn’t one nearby, maybe you could collaborate with other nearby producers and start one!
Communities can also support their local food producers by creating Hubs which help them reach local customers.
Eaters & Communities
Open Food Network enables you to buy food locally, if there are producers on the platform.
Find local shops to support on our map and share with others who should be there.
If there are no local shops consider coming together with other community members and starting your own Community Food Hub.
Developers & Volunteers
Open Food Network is an open source project that is built by a community of passionate people, mostly volunteers, all around the world.
If you’re skilled in the field you can help building the platform as a software developer, tester, or product manager.
But we also build so much more, and need skilled people across many other areas, such as community development, training, communications and more.
